An excellent Primary school in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs and Behavioural Needs. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable. The position will be working 1:1 with pupils with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour in the school. The Learning Support Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour and have learning disabilities such as Autism.

This Primary school are looking for a confident, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child's education. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be from �83.33 to �96.15 per day. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to expand their classroom experience prior to undertaking their teaching training and becoming a fully qualified classroom teacher.

Relevant previous experience would include youth work, support work, mental health work and SEN in sport.
