Behavioural Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are collaborating with a Secondary School in Lincolnshire that supports pupils aged 11 - 16 years old. The school values making a difference in young people's lives by providing a high quality and engaging learning environment. The school are seeking a long-term candidate to work in the Alternative Education Unit to motivate students to participate and take ownership in their learning.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Assist with planning activities and prepare resources for students.
• Work with pupils with challenging behaviour and defuse situations.
• Monitor students needs and provide feedback for other staff members.
• Promote development and learning opportunities for students that build self-esteem and independence.
• Supervise children over break and lunch periods.
• Be able to handle difficult situations by remain calm.

Build familiarity with EHCPs of the pupils you're working with 1:1 During your time at Tradewind Recruitment we will support you with the following:

The daily rate is �83.33 - �95 per day.
