Location: Newark
Salary: Competitive, based on experience 30k to 35k

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time 40 hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm + Potential overtime

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kitchen Bench Joiner to join our client's bespoke manufacturing team. This role is ideal for an experienced joiner who takes pride in crafting high-end kitchens with precision and attention to detail.

Senior Kitchen Bench Joiner Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and assemble bespoke kitchen units, cabinets, and furniture to exact specifications.
  • Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and cutting lists.
  • Use a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools to craft high-quality pieces.
  • Work with premium materials such as solid wood, veneers, MDF, and laminates.
  • Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards before installation.
  • Collaborate with designers and workshop staff to troubleshoot and refine designs.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide training where necessary.

Senior Kitchen Bench Joiner Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-end kitchen or furniture joinery.
  • Expertise in using woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Expertise in different joinery methods.
  • Ability to read and work from CAD drawings and cutting lists.
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of craftsmanship.
  • Ability to create bespoke pieces or adaptations based on specific needs or design requests.
  • Knowledge of different wood species, finishes, and construction methods.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent understanding and awareness of Health & Safety
