Surecall Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Benefits Officer to join our client's team in Waltham Forest area.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Key Benefits we offer are:

  • Competitive salary of £18.50/hour
  • Weekly pay

What's expected from you:

  • Previous experience as a Benefits Officer, able to accurately process all types of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and discretionary schemes including Discretionary Housing Payments.
  • Experience of processing Local welfare assistance, household support fund and free school meals
  • Proficient in using the Capita processing system
  • have experience of using a document management system, ideally Civica's workflow 360 system (Comino)
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
