Bereavement services operative

This is a Grounds Maintance/ Manual Labour role.

37 Hours per week.

The purpose of this role is to assist with the gardening and grounds at the Crematorium and Cemetery to ensure they are maintained to the highest possible standard, offer a tranquil and beautiful environment for bereaved families and friends.

Your responiblilties will include, working within 63 acres of ground space, graves, gates, bounderies and pathways. Prepare graves to specific widths and depths as provided on digging slips produced by the bereavment Services officers. High regard of personal safety and the safety of others.�

Must have experience in carrying out physically demanding and manual work outside in all weather condidtions.

Reuirements�

Grade 3 Grounds maintanace�

Standard english and maths GCSE

Knowledge of burial regulations�

Knowledge of cemertry oprations including excevators

Full driving license�
