Key Responsibilities:Project Management:Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of BESS projects.Develop detailed project plans, including time-lines, budgets, and resource allocation.Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Technical Oversight:Coordinate the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of BESS.Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical specifications meet project requirements.Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and local authorities.Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders.Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure client satisfaction.Financial Management:Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost control measures are in place.Prepare regular financial and progress reports for senior management.Handle procurement activities, including contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all projects comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations.Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.Keep up-to-date with Welsh energy policies and ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy sector, preferably with a focus on BESS or renewable energy projects.Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Skills:Strong understanding of BESS technology and renewable energy systems.Excellent project management skills, including risk management, scheduling, and budget control.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Other Requirements:Willingness to travel across project sites in Wales as needed.Valid UK driving license.
