We are on the hunt for an experienced Bid Manager with a background in Professional Services – Real Estate / Legal / Accounting / Facilities management. This can be a step up for an bid executive or writer.
As an integral member of the Global team, the Bid Manager will collaborate closely with sales, commercial, and platform teams, playing a pivotal role in managing formal bid proposals and capability documents.
This position will act as the primary point of contact, coordinating all internal workstreams to finalise proposal responses and presentations, while also overseeing the review of all proposal content in conjunction with cross-functional business teams.
The Role:
Oversee the entire proposal and presentation development process, ensuring that all members of the pursuit team, including sales leads, operational subject matter experts, pricing, and graphic designers, are clear on expectations and deadlines.
Write, edit, format, and proofread all proposal and presentation materials. Responsible for leading red team reviews with team members to guarantee high-quality outputs.
Coordinate the preparation of additional deliverables related to new business opportunities, such as presentations and follow-up requests.
Participate in preparation sessions for all opportunities, adhering to best practices.
Assist Senior Proposal Managers on larger bids.
Contribute to the development of new content and support strategic firm initiatives as required.
Utilise previous professional experience to identify and implement process improvements and best practices in business development and proposal management. Advocate for the alignment of all deliverables with the firm's brand.
Carry out other related duties as needed or requested..
Who we are looking for::
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
APMP qualification is advantageous.
Proven experience in a proposal management environment.
Demonstrated ability to assimilate, coordinate, and respond to global and regional RFIs and RFPs.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and effective time management skills.
Ability to engage with individuals at all levels of the organisation, including senior executives, as well as cross-functional and regional teams.
Capable of performing well and thriving under pressure.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; InDesign and desktop publishing skills are a plus.
Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce.
