Bid Team Leader

Bid Team LeaderWe are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Bid Team Leader to join our Sales team. The Bid Team Leader will manage the tendered and contracted business elements of the Fresenius Kabi and Calea portfolio and will line manage a team of Contract Co-Ordinators and Bid Writers. The position is full-time Monday - Friday and is based in Runcorn.Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specialises in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.Our product portfolio comprises a comprehensive range of I.V. generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of Associate Contracts Co-ordinators, Contracts Co-ordinators and Bid WritersLead on the tender process for all business streams and work closely with the senior Sales and Marketing management team to complete tender submissionsEnsure a high standard and consistent approach is taken with all tenders to improve tender successReview the Contracts Advance tracker report daily to ensure all potential opportunities are capturedCover bid writing responsibilities, including drafting of responses, meeting stakeholders and updating responsesEnsure the systems and processes are in place to ensure pricing accuracy for all customersRegularly review tender documentation to ensure accuracy and correct representation of Fresenius Kabi and CaleaQualifications/experienceExperience of managing complex public sector tenders, preferably NHSDegree or equivalent preferredLine management experience essentialSenior sales/sales management experienceBenefitsContributory Pension Scheme (rises with service)Role specific tailored training and development planLife Insurance (4 x salary, death in service)25 days holiday (rises to 27 after 5 years service) and ability to buy/sell holidaysMaternity, Paternity and Adoption LeaveProfessional fees paidBike to work schemeLong Service AwardsEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree onsite parking and subsidised canteenBlue Light CardCompany funded family days outWe are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination.
