Bid Team Manager



Birmingham / Hybrid



Exciting new Bid Team Manager opportunity based in Birmingham. In this role you will be leading the bid function and line managing 3 direct reports. This is a critical role for the business where you will be overseeing the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities, formulating effective strategies for the bidding process , managing resource and, adopting technology to submitting winning proposals.



Bid Manager Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and implement bid management strategies that align with the company's goals to increase win rates and drive revenue growth.�

  • Lead a team of bid professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.�

  • Manage resources and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions.�

  • Ensuring compliance with client's requirements, regulations and industry standards.�

  • Internal Stakeholder Management and Collaboration.�

  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to enrich / inform Quality/Technical elements of the bid.�

  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files records of communication and pricing information, and keeping an up-to-date bid library.�

  • Lead on the development and implementation of digital technologies and A.I. to support with the bidding process (e.g., Generative A.I., digital cost modelling tools).�

  • Monitoring and evaluating bid performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.�
