Job Title: Bid WriterLocation: CambridgeSalary: Up to £45 + packageAre you a skilled bid writing professional driven by a passion for achieving results and success? We are currently recruiting for an established main contractor who are seeking a Bid Writer to join their Pre-Construction team.The role will ideally suit someone from a marketing, business development, or bid leading background, not necessarily from a main contractor background, but construction experience is preferred.Responsibilities:Re-write and edit proposal responses from various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal, and delivery.Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Bid Lead/Manager against agreed deadlines, escalating issues as needed.Lead storyboard sessions with bid/proposal team members.Conduct market research for kick-off and solution meetings.Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts.Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.Coach and guide bid teams in writing best practices.Utilize proposal automation software effectively.Communicate and influence at a senior level.Exhibit excellent time management and prioritization skills.Demonstrate forensic attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills.Benefits:Competitive salary package.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development through ongoing training and support.A collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.If you think this opportunity could be right for you, please click and apply with a copy of your CV, and one of our specialist consultants will be in touch!
