About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the bid management process, ensuring that all proposals are completed accurately and submitted on time. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments to produce compelling bids that meet client requirements.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bid Manager located in Chelmsford. The Bid Manager will be responsible for bid preparation, bid management, bid writing, proposal management, and bid processes. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end bid process and collaborating with internal teams to develop winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities
Excellent written English
Ability to promote and attract attention to the company throughout the bid process.
Timescales are met at every step of the bid process, including all internal governance
Monitoring bid opportunities
Completing bid applications from an administrative perspective
Completing PQQ questionnaires
Maintaining existing accreditations for the business
Producing monthly reports to the Directors
Assisting with other procurement administration
Must be computer literate and competent

Experience in Proposal Management
Knowledge of Bid Processes
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Relevant degree or certification in Business, Engineering, or related field
The candidate must have a proven ability in bid-writing within the public sector and/or social housing market.
CRM software experience: 2 years minimum
