BIM Coordinator

Think Recruitment are currently working with a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality engineering solutions who, due to a significant project win are looking to recruit a BIM Coordinator.

Our clients diverse portfolio includes infrastructure, commercial, nuclear and public sector projects and are looking for this candidate to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex projects through Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies.

As a BIM Coordinator, you will work closely with project teams, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to manage and coordinate the development and delivery of detailed BIM models. You will ensure that BIM protocols, standards, and workflows are implemented effectively and will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of 3D models and the integration of design data throughout the project lifecycle.

On a day to day basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development, production, and implementation of BIM models across various civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring 3D models from different disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, MEP) are fully coordinated and clash-free, using tools such as Autodesk Navisworks or Revit, implementing and managing BIM protocols in line with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), ensuring adherence to company and client specifications and maintaining accurate BIM documentation, including data management, COBie outputs, and 4D/5D modelling requirements.
