Our client is seeking a skilled BIM MEP Project Coordinator�to join their dynamic team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong foundation in MEP BIM, who is looking to advance their career and contribute to the success of building information models (BIM) on MEP projects.





As a BIM MEP Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing the implementation of Building Information Models on Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) projects. This position is ideal for individuals with at least three years of Revit MEP experience, offering the perfect stepping stone for further career development.





The primary responsibility of this role is to support Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health projects by developing and coordinating 3D MEP models, alongside generating associated 2D drawings. This includes working from engineering mark-ups and ensuring the integration of all MEP services.





Key Responsibilities:




  • Set up and maintain Revit MEP models for various projects.

  • Collaborate with engineers to produce coordinated 3D MEP models and 2D drawings.

  • Develop and maintain Revit standards, procedures, and families.

  • Liaise with clients to create coordinated 3D MEP models and 2D drawings for fully designed schemes.

  • Attend coordination and design team meetings with clients.

  • Assist in the training and development of junior Revit technicians.





The Ideal Candidate:




  • At least 3 years of experience in the building services industry.

  • Extensive experience using Revit MEP.

  • Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD is a plus, though not essential.

  • Proven experience in coordinating Revit models for various services, with a focus on HVAC and pipework systems, as well as clash detection.

  • Knowledge of COBie project requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Ability to collaborate and follow direction from senior engineers.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
