Bioanalytical Scientist - LCMS

Title: Bioanalytical Scientist – LCMS (Various levels)
Location: North West England
Duration: Permanent
Our client is looking or Bioanalytical Scientist (various levels) to join their fast growing team in the North West of England.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge and experience of LC-MS/MS including method development and validation
Knowledge of practical aspects of Bioanalytical techniques
Experience in Bioanalytical Method Validation
Experience in performing pharmacokinetic (PK) assays using a variety of analytical platforms including LC-MS/MS.
Able to develop new techniques and technologies within laboratory
Experience of NMR is an advantage.
Detailed understanding of theoretical basis of the Analytical and Bioanalytical techniques, supporting a diverse range of client requirements for biopharmaceuticals.
To maintain a “state of the art” knowledge in relevant Analytical / Bioanalytical technologies and platforms.
Ability to generate and technically review multi-technique analytical / bioanalytical reports.
Problem solve technical challenges autonomously.
Demonstrate method development as required, drawing on literature as required
Able to demonstrate client communication and service.
Requirements:
BSc / MSc/ PhDn or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
Industry experience is essential
LC-MS/MS analysis is essential
Experience of NMR is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of Analytical / Bioanalytical techniques with extensive experience of pharmacokinetic analysis of biopharmaceuticals, small and/or large molecules.
Experience of
Analytical / Bioanalytical method development and validation.
Experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory
Strong understanding of GMP, GLP and/or GCP principles.
Strong method development and validation experience (ICH M10 Bioanalytical method validation, ICH Q2 R2 Analytical method validation)
