The role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities.
- Carrying out commissioning of BMS systems.
- Load and commission system and network-level controllers.
- Use safe systems of working and pay particular attention to the Electricity at Work Regulations, Health and Safety Regulations.
- Develop software programs, front-end graphics, commission and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of the building control system.
- Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
- The production of detailed reports including commissioning reports, test results and as fitted drawings.
- The integration of 3rd party systems into the BMS using Modbus, Mbus or BACnet enabled devices.
- Working closely with the project manager.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience in BMS Control systems
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or to related field.
- Previous experience in creating/updating BMS software and graphics.
- Good working knowledge of BMS Industry standards protocols, BACnet, Modbus
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Industry standard H&S certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Good computer literacy (MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- A passion for leading change within the team and become a role model amongst peers.
- Ability to work alone and when necessary, within a larger engineering team.
- Full clean UK Driving License
- Trend, Siemens, RDM and Tridium knowledge
