Bodyshop Vehicle Prepper required in Southend-on-sea.
Are you an experienced and detail-oriented vehicle prepper looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Bodyshop Vehicle Prepper to join our client’s team in Southend-on-sea and play a key role in preparing vehicles for bodywork and paintwork.
About the Role: As a Bodyshop Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the next stage of the repair process. This includes sanding, masking, and applying filler, as well as preparing the vehicle for paint. You’ll work closely with our team of skilled technicians to ensure that all vehicles are meticulously prepared and ready for quality repairs.
Key Responsibilities of this Bodyshop Vehicle Prepper vacancy:

• Sanding, masking, and priming vehicles to a high standard.


• Applying filler where necessary, ensuring a smooth surface.


• Ensuring all vehicles are free of contaminants before paint application.


• Assisting with the removal and refitting of parts as required.


• Working closely with the Bodyshop team to ensure a smooth workflow.


• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements of the Bodyshop Prepper:

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop Vehicle Prepper or in a similar role.


• Good knowledge of vehicle preparation techniques and processes.


• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.


• Ability to work well as part of a team.


• Strong communication skills.


• A full UK driving licence.

Details & Benefits for the Bodyshop Prepper role:

• Competitive salary up to £35,000 p.a. (depending on experience).


• Monday to Friday only – 8.00am to 6.00pm or 7.00am to 5.00pm (45 hours per week).
