Zachary Daniels have an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a successful organisation that are going through an aggressive period of growth.
Seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in bookkeeping to join a supportive team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be a key player in managing the day-to-day trading accounts of our growing business and eventually overseeing an additional team member.
Job Duties:
- Efficiently manage both sales and purchase ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase postings and payments. Using our online banking software.
- Take charge of the complete invoice generation process.
- Maintain meticulous and organised financial records.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the management team.
- Liaise closely with supply chain partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Key responsibilities include assessing the creditworthiness of customers, setting credit limits and payment terms, monitoring customer accounts.
- Managing the collection and posting of customer payments, chasing overdue payments, resolving payment disputes.
- The role requires strong communication, and analytical skills, as well as a proactive approach to managing credit risks and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Effective credit control ensuring the financial health of our business by minimising bad debt and optimising cash flow.
- Answering phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinating management meetings and presenting financial reports against budgets
- Preparing and distribute memos, emails, and other correspondence
- Maintaining accurate records and update databases as needed
- Provide general clerical support to our company Director
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Sage 50 is essential and spreadsheet knowledge needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- AAT qualification is desired but essential.
