We are recruiting for a part time Bookkeeper to join a company based in Saltdean. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Accounts and will have used software’s such as Sage 50. You’ll have dealt with PAYE Payroll, VAT and credit card reconciliation. Ideally, you’ll have worked within the construction or building industry, but this is not essential.
As a Bookkeeper your role will include:
* Overseeing daily income and expenditure transactions
* Performing bank and credit card reconciliation
* Preparing CIS and VAT returns
* Weekly PAYE Payroll
* Updating financial records and ensuring they’re filed away safely and securely
Skills Required:
* Previous experience with Sage 50
* Previous Accounts / Bookkeeping experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
* Strong attention to detail

This is a part time position working 20 – 24 hours a week between Monday and Friday on an hourly rate from £16 to £18 per hour. The office is based in Saltdean and can be flexible with working from home.
