YDP is a family run business providing administration support to the hospitality industry. We specialise in bookkeeping and payroll services for sports, social and community clubs across the county.
We are looking for another bookkeeper to add to our friendly and professional team.
This person will be responsible for the management of their own clients, bookkeeping, annual accounts, filing returns and advising on a range of issues.
Previous experience of hospitality or cash businesses is a bonus but not essential as we will provide plenty of training along the way. Experience using Quickbooks for bookkeeping is preferred.
The role requires some knowledge of payroll processes to support our wider team with holiday cover.
Job Specification
� Maintaining cash book and purchase ledger for several clients at once
� Bank reconciliation
� Preparation of VAT account
� Processing and filing of invoices, receipts and other documents
� Managing or advising on supplier payments
� Issuing detailed reporting and consultation
� Preparation of annual financial statement to trial balance
� Providing guidance and support to clubs as required
� Payroll holiday cover (weekly and monthly)
Personal Specification
- AAT Level 3 and Above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised and ability to lead a team
- Familiar with weekly and monthly payrolls and aware of latest payroll legislation
- Knowledge of and experience using Quickbooks for bookkeeping

Salary: �27,000 - �30,000 pa DOE
