A new opportunity is available for a Bookkeeper to join a successful Accountancy Practice on a full time basis. This is a role based in central Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant office and team and will closely with the Accountant to ensure an excellent service is delivered to range of the practices clients.
Key responsibilities:
* Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
* Accurately storing and recording of data
* Producing financial statements - income and expenditure
* Paying invoices
* Tracking account balances
* VAT returns
* Reconciling accounts and making the Accountant aware of discrepancies when required
* Cash flow, profit and loss and balancesheet
* Employee wages
* Expense claims
* Assisting with year end as when the Accountant requires
The above is an overview of typical duties the successful candidate is likely to be involved in. Due to the nature of the practice and the workload, you will have an opportunity to gain exposure in varied accounting duties.
