Bookkeeper

Your new company
Working for a well respected practice in Exmouth, joining a busy and growing team.
Your new role
You will provide bookkeeper services to a growing client base of businesses across multiple sectors. The main duties are below;

• Responsible for your own portfolio of clients
• Providing your portfolio of clients with a bookkeeping service up to trial balance.
• Assisting clients with VAT and CIS returns
• Also, occasionally preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts for some clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You MUST have recent experience of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns, ideally in a practice environment, but we can also look at industry experience.
The candidate will have a good working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks and Xero. Experience of MTD would be desirable.
From a qualifications perspective, you will be AAT, IAB or ICB part qualified or qualified with a strong attention to detail.
