Brake Press Operator

Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking to join a well-established company in Essex? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to become a key part of our clients manufacturing team!

Position: Press Brake Operator
Location: Essex
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (early finish on a Friday)

• Precision Work: Operate Brake Press machines to produce customer orders on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Machine Setup: Set up machines, read and interpret drawings, program the machine, perform tooling changes, and mark up pressed parts for packing.
• Material Handling: Maneuver materials on and off the press machines manually or using appropriate equipment.
• Robot Programming: Engage in robot programming as needed.

• Experience: Proven experience operating and setting Press Brake machines is essential.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and follow projection drawings.
• Metal Knowledge: Familiarity with different grades of metal and their properties.
• Adaptability: Flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
• Quality Focus: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Communication: Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
