Brake Press Setter/Operator

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machinery and working with sheet metal.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate a press brake machine to bend, form, and shape sheet metal

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications of the final product

- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure precision in bending angles and dimensions

- Perform basic mathematical calculations to determine material requirements and bending sequences

- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy

- Maintain and troubleshoot press brake equipment as needed

- Assist in tooling set-up, grinding, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes

Skills:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in operating press brake machinery

- Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and maintenance

- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations

- Experience with tooling set-up, grinding, fabrication, welding, and assembly

- Ability to work with sheet metal materials efficiently

Pay: �12.00-�15.59 per hour
