Brand Support Advisor
Basic salary to 27,000 + benefits
Based in Marden, Kent
A great opportunity has arisen due to growth, with an organisation who supply vehicle parts to trade and fleet customers throughout Europe. If you're looking to start a career which is varied, you get to communicate with teams internationally as well as in the UK, learn about new product developments and learn from an established team, this could be a great role for you!
The Role:
- You'll be working as part of the brand support team who's function is to link the sales team and customers with the rest of the business to ensure everyone has a good awareness of new products and a place to ask questions about existing products too.
- There is quite a lot of documentation to work with and some presentations to help put together, working with the brand support specialist rather than on your own initially.
- You'll be comparing sales data across different products and markets looking for trends and where demand lies.
- You'll attend regular meetings with sales teams (mostly virtually but as time goes on some of this could be face to face in the UK and Europe), to understand product challenges, collate information and note down topics that need investigation.
- Part of the role is helping to compile guides to help the sales team when discussing new product lines with their customers. It includes product specifics, features and benefits compared to other products and this helps them overcome any customer objections or concerns.
- Once you're more experienced you'll take some calls from colleagues to advise on product features or put them in contact with the right people in the business to help.
- This is definitely a fairly junior position for someone wanting to grow their career in this sector.
The Person:
- We're looking for someone who has good communication skills, both verbal and written and strong spelling and grammar.
- You'll maybe be a graduate and have 1 year work experience in an administrative or business focused role.
- The most important thing is that you're organised, have strong administration skills and are a strong communicator.
- You'll have good excel skills but be willing to build on these and have an interest in analysing date for trends as you'll be tracking the performance of car brands in different regions.
- Experience writing presentations would be useful, either PowerPoint or Prezi but this can be taught.
- You'll need to be able to get to Marden 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week.
The Package:
- The basic salary is up to 27,000
- 25 days holidays + bank holidays
- Onsite parking and canteen
- Annual bonus after qualifying period
- Great entry level role for someone starting their career
