We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Bricklayer to join our Construction company.

\n

As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and interpreting the building plans. You will also be responsible for positioning the bricks as per the specifications and requirements.

\n

Apart from this, you will possess excellent communication skills with strong physical stamina. You should also have an understanding and knowledge of building structures and houses. Working with safety and precision is the prime responsibility for this position.

\nResponsibilities\n

• Understanding the building plans.
\n
• Interpreting and analyzing the blueprints.
\n
• Measuring the brick layering area.
\n
• Determining the alignment of the bricks.
\n
• Distinguishing the thickness of the mortar.
\n
• Spreading the mortar that serves as a base.
\n
• Making use of the trowel as and when required.
\n
• Positioning the bricks on the mortar bed.
\n
• Removing excess mortar using a trowel.
\n
• Filling the small spaces between the bricks.
\n
• Using plumb bob and gauge line to determine the alignment.
\n
• Welding the metal parts to the steel structural members.
\n
• Plastering the walls and ceiling.
\n
• Making use of different types of bricks.
\n
• Providing spaces for different types of pipelines and chimneys.
\n
• Working in collaboration with Welders, Construction Workers, and other team members.
\n
• Using all the construction tools and equipment required for the tasks.
\n
• Ensuring the tools are cleaned after use.
\n
• Maintaining the construction equipment and tools.
\n

\nRequirements\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED.
\n
• Proven work experience as a Bricklayer or a similar position in the Construction industry.
\n
• A professional certification and training program in OSHA 10.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of workplace safety and health.
\n
• Illustrate a strong understanding of methods and procedures in bricklaying.
\n
• Ability to work for long working hours.
\n
• Exceptional ability to solve problems.
\n
• Good maths and judgment skills.
\n
• Ability to work on weekends and holidays as well.
\n
• A hardworking and dedicated individual.
\n
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Good communication skills.
