Building Control Surveyor

A leading Approved Inspector is newly seeking an experienced Building Control Surveyor to service development sites in the nationwide, covering the following locations:

Sheffield - Level 3G or 3H Business Saftey Regulated 

Yorkshire - Level 2 or 3 Business Saftey Regulated 

Manchester - Level 2 – 3 Business Saftey Regulated 

Doncaster - Min Level 2A Business Saftey Regulated 

M1 Corridor (Leicester, Derby) Level 2-3 Business Saftey Regulated 

London Central  Level 2-3 Business Saftey Regulated 

Crawley and surrounds – Level 2-3 Business Saftey Regulated 

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into an existing patch with a good variety of project types and low workload. This business takes a quality over quantity approach, with a focus on keeping inspection numbers low, giving you ample time to focus on providing a high calibre service. You will be remote based, with flexibility to manage your own diary, travelling to development sites only within your local patch.

Key Responsibilities:

·To deliver agreed procedures to provide effective building control services on a range of projects in terms of size and complexity

· Review of plans and other associated matters for compliance with building regs and associated legislation

· Delivery of site inspections and testing of building works for compliance with building regs and associated legislation

· Liaison with applicants, agents, consultants/statutory bodies and the public
