Building Fabric Manager

We are actively seeking an experienced Building Fabric Manager to work for an organisation based in Birmingham.� The contract will originally go for at least 12 months, but with a likely extension or opportunity for Permanent employment

Position: Building Fabric Manager

Location: Birmingham

Pay rate: Between �28 and �32 per hour (through Umbrella/CIS company)

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for looking after the maintenance teams relating to fabric and decorating


• Managing a team of 20 people organising planned maintenance and allocating works


• Handle small projects relating to building fabrics up to a budget of 50k �


• Liaise with senior management to relay information regarding budgets and timescales


• Manage contractors to ensure work is being done to strict Health & Safety standards


• Monitor compliance within the organisation


• Ensure value for money with contract renewals and negotiations
