Scope
Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer and 4D Modeller to join their Global Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of BIM processes in our client's new vehicle manufacturing installations. As a BIM Engineer, you will work closely with project teams on complex multi-disciplinary industrial installation projects, utilising BIM to identify and resolve errors before construction or manufacturing begins.
Responsibilities
Working from a central function and supporting project teams on complex multi-disciplinary industrial installation projects.
Support the wider team utilising BIM to remove error conditions prior to construction/manufacture.
Work with inputs from multiple sources including internal and externally authored data.
Create 4D BIM for assigned projects.
Lead creation of 4D animations to communicate installation and timing scenarios to the stakeholder group.
Lead BIM clash detection workstream on assigned projects.
Lead BIM review sessions for clash and timing workstreams.
Work with stakeholders to close out actions.
Work closely with process, facilities, and construction teams to ensure BIM is effectively developed to facilitate 4D planning and clash reviews.
Work united with the site installation teams to scenario plan during installation phase and help manage change.
Support site installation teams during build/installation phase.
Promote the use of BIM where there are opportunities to broaden its use to benefit the company.

Experience linking BIM meta data to other data platforms for further use.
Intermediate-Advanced with Autodesk AutoCAD.
Intermediate-Advanced with Autodesk Inventor and Factory Design Utilities.
Experience using Autodesk ReCap.
Experience using Leica Register 360 and CloudWorx.
Experience Revit modelling of lidar scan data.
Experience using CDEs during a project lifecycle
