Maintenance Engineer (Plumbing Bias) - London

Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Building Maintenance Engineer to join a static maintenance team based at a site in Greenwich, working for a large Facilities Management company.

Salary: �42,500 per annum

Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Permanent

Location: London, SE

What you'll do:

  • Perform day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a variety of systems including water distribution, sanitary fittings, BMS, drainage, boiler controls, fire alarm systems, and building fabric.
  • Ensure all work meets required codes of practice and health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and site representatives to maintain high levels of customer care.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide cover for other multi-skilled engineers as needed and participate in an on-call rota, including weekends.

Essential:

  • Qualification in commercial plumbing equipment services and drainage (e.g., Unvented Hot Water Installer, Level 2/3 plumbing C&G NVQ).
  • At least 5 years of relevant post-experience in a similar environment.
  • Ability to multi-task across mechanical and other building disciplines.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • UK driving license and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
