Building Safety Manager

We are actively looking for a Building Safety Manager to join a housing association in the Solihull area on a temporary basis. In return you will receive flexible working hours, hybrid working, opportunity to be extended and mileage covered.
As the Building Safety Manager you will be:

• Overseeing the building safety of the authority whilst specialising in fire safety
• Managing the development and improvement of the policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Legislations
• Manage the building safety operating environments and safety case requirements for the housing stock
• Monitoring the survey recommendations across the high rise properties, identifying and reporting any issues

Qualifications / Experience:

• Experience covering the big 6 of Compliance
• Understanding of the Building Safety Act
• Extensive experience working with building safety
• Social housing experience
• Previous experience leading a team
• NEBOSH or relevant professional qualification
