Graduate Building Surveyor - Birmingham
Salary: �30K per annum
A renowned construction consultancy is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. This consultancy provides a full range of Building Surveying services to clients and is currently experiencing a period of growth, The position is based in the Central Birmingham office, but the consultancy serves clients on a national level so UK wide travel will be required. Owning your own vehicle is essential.

Requirements:

• Relevant Construction Degree in Building Surveying & working towards final assessment with RICS or recently completed APC.
• Working knowledge of a range of building surveying services.
• Ability to work independently with a strong team spirit and a positive attitude to service delivery.
• Experience or understanding in delivering core building surveying services such as:

o Contract Administration
o Dilapidations
o Party Wall
o Landlord and Tenant
o Defect Analysis and Rectification
o Developing a Client's Brief
o Project delivery
o JCT Contract Administration (Minor and IF)
o Technical Compliance (Planning & Building Regulations)
o Specification writing
o Producing schedules of work
Additional Skills:

• Awareness of the Principal Designer role
• Design experience (using AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of NEC Contracts (Option C)
• Project Cost Control
