Building Surveyor

Job description On behalf of a social housing client, Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Senior Building Surveyor for a permanent contract role, covering the London Area.
This Role is purely office based.
The Senior Building Surveyor role will include:
Social housing maintenance repairs and planned works surveys, damp, subsidence, structural inspections in occupied and void properties.
Managing and leading a team of surveyors, undertaking day-to-day works.
Surveying pre and post works.
Complete and deliver technical reports directly to internal teams and contractors.
Present updates and progress reports to Directors, colleagues and stakeholders.
Liaise with management and support staff throughout the surveying process.
Ensure the appropriate production and application of procurement schedules to maximise financial and operational benefits.
Working closely with the Directors, you will be a key influencer in decision making.
Develop relationships with colleagues and mentor them in growing their skills in support of growth targets.
You will have profit and loss decision making responsibilities.
Candidates Must Have:
Social housing maintenance and repairs surveying experience
Experience of managing a team of surveyors
Health and Safety legislation knowledge
Surveying qualification or experience
Technical knowledge of a wide range of housing stock
Extensive Knowledge of Building Maintenance and diagnostic techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £380.00 per day
