Peace Recruitment's client, a leading consultancy firm based Edinburgh, with an excellent reputation of providing expert advice and services within the property and construction sector are expanding.  Their dedicated team delivers tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients, ensuring projects are managed efficiently and to the highest standard. Our client are seeking to onboard an experienced Graduate or recently chartered Surveyor in Edinburgh or Glasgow to join their growing team. This role will focus primarily on delivering existing instructions for retained clients within the commercial property sector. You can expect to work with several market-leading clients, delivering a wide range of professional, project, and new build development instructions. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in their continued success and expansion.Key Responsibilities:Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments for a variety of property types.Prepare detailed reports, including condition reports, building surveys, and schedules of dilapidations.Provide professional advice on construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment projects.Undertake project management duties, including contract administration and monitoring project progress.Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, codes, and industry best practices.Assist in the preparation of planning and building control applications.Support senior surveyors and directors with the development of new business opportunities.Requirements:MRICS or nearing final APC stageMinimim 3 years Consultancy experienceStrong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven leadership and team management abilities.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in using industry-specific software and tools.Good professional and project-related experience.In Return:Competitive salary DOE subject to candidate experience.Private healthcare, company pension, and an excellent bonus scheme.Fully flexible working with the support of an experienced team.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and inclusive work environment.The chance to work on a variety of exciting projects.Salary:75k + PackageLocation:Edinburgh or Glasgow Type:permanentSUBMIT CV
