Building Surveyor - Job Overview

• Managing and delivering a variety of refurbishment and new-build projects across the commercial, education, and industrial sectors.
• Contract administration and project-based works, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring projects meet design specifications, budget, and quality standards.
• Carrying out site inspections, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence.
• Preparing reports, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
• Attending project meetings and liaising with key stakeholders to drive projects forward.

Building Surveyor - Job Requirements

• Relevant degree or qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in contract administration and refurbishment projects within the commercial, education, or industrial sectors.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites within one hour of Sheffield.
