Bus Driver

Hero Recruitment are looking for a Temp to Perm Bus Driver for the Erith area�

Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable and dedicated drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of using a tachograph card and experience in private hire services. The role involves various duties, including private hire, contracts, school runs, and rail replacement, with flexibility in working hours. The successful applicants must be willing to work split shifts when necessary and be available to work 5 days out of 7.

Candidates must live within a 30-minute commute to our depot during peak hours and demonstrate strong communication skills, as well as proficiency with technology. You will be required to use multiple apps for daily operations, so comfort with technology is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving mini and midi buses, including wheelchair accessible vehicles


• Private hire, contracts, school runs, and rail replacement duties


• Comfortable working split shifts when required


• Must be flexible and available to work any 5 days out of 7


• Provide excellent customer service and adhere to safety standards

Requirements:

• Full Cat D driving license with manual entitlement


• CPC


• Tacho


• Clean Enhanced DBS (No entries)


• Proven experience using a tachograph card


• Ability to operate apps and technology used in the daily operations


• Good communication skills and reliabilit

Hours:

• 35 hours per week, plus overtime


• Flexible working hours, 5 days out of 7
