Job Title: Business Analyst- Product ControlLocation: LondonTravel/Relocation/Remote: HybridDetermining business requirements and prioritizing them for change.Defining functional requirements which reflect the business requirements and developing approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes or technology solutionsLiaising with Risk Finance and Treasury Business Stakeholders to document business outcomes functional specifications as product backlogs for new Finance initiativesDefining detailed business and integration requirements using the Confluence Wiki based documentation approach aligned with an Agile sprint based development methodologyCreating detailed GUI mock ups and other visual requirements as required to be presented alongside user requirements to development feature teams and key business stakeholdersWorking actively and closely with feature teams to ensure user requirements business outcomes are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation Analysing UAT issues and assisting Business users developers with issue resolutionAnalysing and respond to queries from Finance Product Owners Users Analysing systems to identify functional gaps and enable them to be resolved via process changes technology solutionsProvide recommendations as to process re engineering and improvementsCollaborating and maintaining strong relationships within Finance Risk Treasury teams and stakeholdersBasic Essential Qualifications Skills:Bachelors Degree in a Finance or related fieldBA BS 10 years experience and expertise as a Business Analyst10 years experience and proficient expertise with Business Analysis tools as well as Agile software JIRA Agile Central 10 years of direct work experience in a business analyst capacity including but not limited to o Proven experience in data analysis including SQL data queries and data interrogation o Proven experience in data migrations oProven experience in data modelling o Proven experience in business process modelling oProven experience in Finance processes Product Control and Financial Control oProven experience managing data migrations In depth knowledge and experience of Finance processes in particular the sub ledger accounting functions how to account for business events and how accounting data impacts Finance and Operations processes and controlsAbility to break down a complex problem into a clearly thought through solution with well structured analysis design and examples as supporting documentationIn depth knowledge and experience in projects adopting different delivery methods e g Waterfall Agile Understanding of Agile SDLC conceptsUnderstanding of Scrum Kanban Agile SDLC methodologyProduct Backlog Features Stories Acceptance Criteria Definition of Ready Definition of Done etcExtensive experience handling stakeholders across the Senior Business Director and Managing Director Level Ability to train junior BA s and pass on best practice procedures in business and data analysis Good understanding of front to back finance and operational process flows Preferred Qualifications Skills Knowledge of Barclays products and systemsProject Management experienceGood knowledge of Investment Banking Financial Services products Ability to understand and deal with competing prioritiesAbility to be able to take initiative analyze summarize and communicate effectively both in writing and orallyA strong polished presence and ability to challenge opinions with confidence and professionalismExperience and knowledge of Finance management and reporting technology solutions 5 years of managing a team 5 10 team sizeAbout CapgeminiCapgemini is a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business by harnessing the power of technology.
