Business Analyst - SCM
Whitehall Resources require an Business Analyst to work with a key client on an initial 6 month contract.
*This role will involve onsite work in either South London or Aberdeenshire 3 days per week.*
*Outside IR35.
What will you be doing?
* Responsible for the execution of the project(s) business analysis tasks using appropriate methods, tools, and technology.
* Responsible for assuring functional design, resolves technical design issues and is accountable for solution design decision making.
* Sound analytical skill and change management capabilities to work independently on transformation, improvement initiatives, liaising effectively with senior stakeholders and vendors on complex problems.
* Describe technology in terms easily understood by business customers and set realistic customer expectations for the project outcome. Adjust customer expectations in accordance with changes in scope.
* Work closely with stakeholders to build trust and understand their goals, motivations, constraints, risks, and operating environment.
* Facilitating and leading workshops.
* Business Process Mapping, Redesign & Blueprinting - predominantly in the SCM domain.
* Support testing (developing test scripts & UAT test cases).
* Potentially create training materials within the Learning Management System environment.
* Ensure integration and adherence with the overall Digitalisation Global Process methodology.
What experience would we like you to have?

* Extensive BA experience (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile BA, PMI-PBA).
* Previous BA experience in SCM
* Experience of using Business Analysis techniques and tools with significant experience in project deliverables.
* Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements.
* Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options.
* Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
* Experience working in Agile Project Delivery.
* Beneficial to have experience of managing complex data and analysis ( data modelling tools and techniques).
* Previous experience in a transformation programme.
* Ability to identify business and data challenges and work as part of a team to identify improvements or solutions.
* Experience in Process Modelling methodologies such as BPMN.
These are not essential to have but we would like you to highlight any existing experiences in your application:
* HR, Finance.
* Ecommerce Platforms and process.
* Enterprise Technologies and Platform, Infrastructure and Access management.
* Capital Projects - Digital Design and Engineering, Construction and Commissioning and Project Services, hosting technologies and integration experience is an added advantage.
* SAP Products (SAP ECC, SAP S/4, SAP Ariba).
