Business Analyst - Software Delivery/SDLC - Contract

Role: Senior Business Analyst – Software DeliveryDuration: 6 MonthsLocation: Hybrid - 2 days in LondonStart date: ASAPPOSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES -Facilitate, collect and challenge the business requirements by facilitating requirements workshops and participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies, shaping epics and drafting user stories with business requirements, walk through user stories with the business and then the development & test teams to ensure understanding.Work closely with Application owners to understand and validate requirementsPrepare clear technical documentation for Engineers to follow to ensure smooth delivery.Support development and system test queries, facilitate user acceptance testing, and provide support for issues/changes in production during the warranty period.REQUIREMENTS -Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar, in a global Banking environment.Experience delivering complex software applications – involved in all stages of SDLC.Strong communication skills / ability to face off to senior people within the business and build trusting relationships.Previous experience taking a lead analyst role on a large/complex programme of work.Ability to work in the early (scoping) phase of a delivery, helping the business to prioritise their requirements and shape epics.Proven Agile delivery is essential – shaping epics, participating in agile scrum ceremonies, drafting user stories.Previous experience of collaborating with external vendor partner delivery teams for development and test (offshore)Previous Salesforce delivery experience beneficialAbility to work to tight deadlines and split their time between parallel workstreamsConfident working both independently and collaboratively across internal, external and hybrid teamsAll candidates will need to go through a thorough background check.EQUAL OPPORTUNITIESWorld Wide Technology is committed to equal opportunities and actively seeks applications from all sectors of the community irrespective of sex, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, having responsibility for dependents, age, religion/beliefs, or any other reason which cannot be shown to be justified.
