Business Analyst

Our client, a global travel-tech company, plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer service for airlines worldwide. As they continue to expand, they are in search of a Business Analyst with a deep understanding of travel-tech backend systems, including PSS, PNR, and GDS.During project delivery and commercial proposal stages, as well as the transition at project initiation, you will work as a Business Analyst within the Delivery team. Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining expert knowledge in platform functionality and new developmentsUnderstanding the airline business needs and processesUnderstanding internal Product business needs and processesLeading client workshopsLeading internal Product analysis and definitionRequirements validation, both for client projects and internal Product projectsCreating documentation to support the commercial and delivery processesLeading estimation sessions with stakeholdersCollaborating with Commercial and Delivery teams to understand, prioritise and manage multiple projectsCollaborating with the Product team to understand objectives, requirements, and prioritiesEnsuring a smooth transition from commercial proposal to project team deliveryProviding support to the Delivery team as required during project deliveryIdentifying and implementing process improvements The ideal candidate will have:Experience in customer software/IT solution business analysisTravel industry background with knowledge of airline commercial systems such as reservations systems, PSS and GDS and their component partsAbility and willingness to travel overseas for client meetingsProven ability to lead discussions with customers and internal stakeholdersFunctional/technical understanding of software applicationsProven experience in eliciting requirementsProactively guide and support stakeholders (internal and external) to the most appropriate solution in line with product evolutionExcellent attention to detailOrganisational skills, with the ability to take on multiple dutiesAn enthusiastic, honest, ‘can-do’ attitudeA great communicator at all levels of a businessExcellent written and verbal communication skills
