Business Analyst - International Bank - London - Hybrid - £100-120k + benefits STRONG BANKING BACKGROUND IS A MUSTIdeally, the candidate will have front-to-back knowledge and worked with Fixed Income.Job Overview/ Purpose:Business Analyst role within the Markets and Treasury - Murex Integration Services Area.This team are responsible for developing all interfaces and enhancing existing interfaces for the various Murex Transition Squads that are responsible for migrating different product types onto the Murex platform.As a Business Analyst, this role will be creating backlogs through understanding and translation of business requirements, problem analysis, and definition of PBIs, and bugs/defects within systems as prioritised by the Product Owner.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a liaison for the area on matters such as headcount, work prioritization, budgets, etc., as needed.Collaborate strategically with area IT architects to agree on the architectural landscape.Coordinate with Development Team implementers regarding methods, software solutions, and deliveries.Review existing Business Requirements documentation and the current production system to identify necessary functionality and assess the impact of functional changes, ensuring these are documented and addressed.Work with Business teams to identify, document, and translate new requirements into IT solutions when needed.Stay informed about industry changes to anticipate and address business needs.Ensure effective communication between users and developers by translating business requirements into user stories and producing vision and explanatory documents during the project initiation phase.Collaborate with the development team and users to create an initial Product Backlog, writing epics and user stories with sufficient detail to provide high-level estimates for project approval.Lead the process of determining high-level estimates for inclusion in PID or assist the business in evaluating the cost of potential solutions.Develop IT solutions for business requirements and challenge business needs when necessary.Perform project management tasks to facilitate project completion.Take a leading role in prioritizing UAT defects with business users and Development team leads during critical release cycle periods.Lead the test management practice.Promote best practices for business analysis.For more information please apply to this role, or send your cv to #####
