Business Change Manager
Whitehall Resources require a Business Change Manager to work with a key client on an initial 12 month contract.
*This role will require on site work in Cheshire 3 days per week.
*Outside IR35.
Business Change Manager
Are you ready to jump into the dynamic new space of Risk and Resiliency? Help drive a key element of our digital strategy by establishing and leading the newly formed Centre of Excellence for Digital Risk Sensing. Due to an exciting strategic development within GSC&S we are sourcing a new digital risk sensing platform to provide enhanced risk management capability to strengthen the global supply chain. As part of this programme a Risk Sensing CoE is being created, this role will be formative in establishing the governance, processes and driving change management across the organisation.
Typical Accountabilities:
* Change Management:
* Drive the use and value of the digital risk platform across leadership and cross-functional partners.
* Use Change Management experience in deploying technology tools for data analysis to ensure process efficiency.
* Assist teams to develop and align their operating models and processes to leverage the risk sensing information.
* Process Management:
* Integrate risk insights into existing processes and develop governance models needed to support new ways of working
* Provide guidance to business functions on how to take action as part of risk mitigation or activity during risk events
* Coordinate the mapping of our supply chain with 3rd parties and SMEs across the business
* Stakeholder Management:
* Build best practice and value for the CoE in expanding the use of digital risk management across the business
* Drive cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, based on people, process, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
* Develop partnerships with teams such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Legal, Privacy, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit, IT and Security to understand, influence and obtain support to achieve objectives.
* Communicate and presenting complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the organization whilst applying diplomacy and tact in addressing issues and conflicts.
* System Administration:
* Configure the digital tool to align with required parameters, determined based upon supplier risk and its impact on financial metrics
* Manage & own of the digital risk sensing platform
* Management of the risk sensing analysts within the CoE
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
* Highly experienced in relevant risk and change management ideally in GSC. Risk Sensing experience would also be advantageous
* Experience in business change development of new processes operating model and business communications
* Experience in pharmaceutical industry with understanding of supply chain processes and requirements. A strong understanding of business needs, objectives and risk appetite.
* Proficiency in developing, understanding, and following processes methodically.
* Proven ability to manage risks, including assessing and prioritizing risks, and developing and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
* Ability to build collaborative and effective relationships at all levels, manage stakeholder and effective communication.
* Strong logical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
* Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to operate independently.
* Delivering to timescales
* Influencing skills - drive awareness and increase skill levels for colleagues. Influence without authority.
Desirable:
* Experience in setting long-term strategic directions in support of wider business strategy.
* Experience in operational risk management within a pharmaceutical or global supply chain business
* Require understanding of the needs from business, specifically related to pharma and global supply chain
* Strong ability to stay informed about industry trends and best practices, with the ability to incorporate new knowledge into procurement strategies
* Robust business acumen, including a strong understanding of supplier risk and its impact on financial metrics
