Role Profile

A highly established and reputable home furnishings company in the North West is looking for a talented sales and account management professional to join their team, in an exciting customer facing position!

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a new challenge and put your stamp on a newly created role.

If you are equally comfortable out on the road prospecting for new business as you are managing and growing existing customer accounts, then this could be just the career move you are looking for!

This is a North West based opportunity offering Flexible/Field Based/Hybrid Working.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage commercial relationships with existing customers / partners
  • Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities with new retail / B2B customers
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inspire new business opportunities and ideas for new product development
  • Develop a suitable Sales and Marketing strategy to achieve desired growth in sales
  • Undertake regular travel across the UK to conduct in-person customer meetings
  • Manage the Customer Service Team and work closely with Product Development

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in business development, sales and customer account management
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, particularly to customers in the retail sector
  • Strong product knowledge within the home furnishings / textiles industry
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and honed negotiation skills
  • Previous leadership / line management experience
  • Ability to undertake regular business travel across the UK

Remuneration

  • �50,000 - �55,000 Basic Salary
