Business Development Assistant

Job DescriptionA well-known, prestigious international law firm are looking for a Business Development Assistant to provide full support to their busy Business Development Team.The successful candidate will take an active role in supporting the BD Managers and Executives in the execution of marketing plans and campaigns and to help the identification and creation of opportunities to win new business. They are looking for a candidate who is very well-organised with excellent attention to detail with a strong interest in BD activities.Main responsibilitiesAssisting with the pitching process, including credentials, statements of experience, client testimonials, research, organising meetings, biographies and core policy informationProducing client-facing materials autonomouslyCoordinating the legal directories and awards submissionsProducing and distributing digital newsletters and other mailings and analysing reportsMaintaining and updating the firms’ client database, ensuring information is relevant, up to date and GDPR compliantCreating and updating lawyer profiles for the firms’ website and tender proposalsSupporting internal and external events and training programmesSupporting the tender response process and post-tender activitiesAssisting with the creation of marketing collateral, such as website and social media content, flyers, internal newsletters and brochuresGathering analyticsAssisting with internal communications and maintaining the firms’ intranet pagesSkills RequiredGraduate (ideally Law, Marketing or Business Management) or previous experience within a law firm.Very strong attention to detail.Excellent IT skills – especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent time management and prioritising skills.Excellent team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.CRM, desktop publishing software and email marketing platforms knowledge is desirable.Previous experience working within legal or professional services within a similar role would be very desirable.This firm offers a very competitive benefits package and an unparalleled supportive environment.
