Reporting directly to our VP of Sales, you'll play a crucial role in building and converting a robust pipeline of opportunities. As a leader in your field with a passion for sales and new business acquisition, you'll bring confidence and a polished approach to building relationships. EAP in house mental health champion A day in the life of a Business Development Director: Responsible for developing and converting the pipeline into live opportunities through a tender or proposal process. Takes full ownership of the sales process from creation of new opportunities, meeting prospects, to contract signoff, including proposal development, financial sign off and contract negotiation. Liaise with subject matter experts and the support team, to ensure information is up to date and relevant to the client and Aramark requirements. Works closely with the Operations teams and support functions to ensure they are fully on board with the solution being proposed. Manages Salesforce for the activity and ensures it is always up to date. Development and enhancement of a prospect pipeline through engagement, networking, and event attendance Map out the potential prospects for the area and build relationships with the relevant buyers within those accounts. Prioritise “must win” accounts and have a strategy for how they will be converted Review all tender invites for the area and agree whether they are a “real” opportunity that fits into the company sales strategy Build relationships with team members to facilitate effective sharing of best practice and open and honest relationships. You'll be set up for success if you have: Results orientated - proven track record of performance Organisational and time management skills Attention to detail and exceptional quality standards Good knowledge of financial models and catering P&Ls Able to multi-task effectively Effective strategic, analytical and decision making skills with innovative and creative ideas Self-motivated & driven Provides visionary leadership Effective communication skills; oral, written, presentation, influencing and negotiation Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ideally Salesforce or similar system Influencing, coaching and motivating a diverse team Successfully worked with a range of clients About Aramark UK Aramark is a leading service and solutions provider in the UK.
