JOB SUMMARY
The CDW Microsoft Practice is in place to deliver high value business outcomes and experiences to our existing and prospective customers across the full Microsoft eco-system. We do this by high levels of collaboration with the CDW sales community, being experts in our field and having a passion for technology and customer satisfaction.
The role of a Business Development Executive, Microsoft is focused on:
Deliver business development activities and initiatives that contribute towards the success of the CDW Microsoft business and customers
Delivering CDW Sales enablement activity and sales campaigning
Driving close alignment to Microsoft incentives, programmes and funding to support the Microsoft solution and service selling motion
Proactively engage existing Microsoft customer to support retention and lifecycle activities
Supporting the Microsoft Management team with activity and financial reporting as well as contributing to Practice initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
Achieving and exceeding personal performance goals
Building and developing strong pipeline and forecast
Building and maintaining string relationships with the CDW Sales community to identify and generate opportunity creation
Support the Microsoft in achieving the team goals
Build and increasing knowledge of the Microsoft technology eco-system
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
1+ years working in a sales environment
Experience of being involved and responsible for part of a sales process
Demonstrable experience of being proactive, being able to solve problems and collaboration
Good working knowledge of the productivity suite including excel, PowerPoint, word and outlook
Desirable – some knowledge of the Microsoft technology or partner eco-system

Outstanding communications skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present concepts
Prepared for occasional travel between CDW UK & International offices as the role requires whilst maintaining a suitable home life balance
Ability to allocate time to undertake personal development activities such as attending training, achieving certifications, and focusing on soft-skill development – always seeking to personally develop as an individual
