The Opportunity
As a Business Development Executive within my client's Packaging division, your primary focus will be on identifying and qualifying new leads to drive the company's growth initiatives.
You'll play a pivotal role in expanding my client's market reach and establishing a robust pipeline of potential clients. Your responsibilities will revolve around strategically targeting and engaging with prospects through various channels, including email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events. Leveraging your creativity and resourcefulness, you'll devise innovative strategies to generate interest and capture the attention of key decision-makers in the packaging industry.
Job Duties
As a successful Business Development Executive, you will be tasked with:
- 30% Account management, 70% new business.
- Identifying new business opportunities, prospecting, and developing strategic plans to capitalize on them.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and foster collaboration.
- Leading the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and exceed performance goals.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional value to customers.
- Utilising market research and industry insights to identify potential leads, including researching companies, understanding their packaging needs, and pinpointing opportunities for collaboration.
- Developing and executing targeted outreach campaigns to engage with prospects through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels, crafting compelling messaging that highlights my client's value proposition and resonates with the needs of potential clients.
- Cultivating relationships with prospects by initiating meaningful conversations, addressing their pain points, and showcasing how my client's packaging solutions can address their specific challenges.
- Nurturing leads through consistent follow-up and personalized communication.
- Qualifying leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring alignment with my client's target market and ideal customer profile.
About You

- Proven track record of success in business development, recruitment, or a similar role.

- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to travel weekly to their office based in Sheffield
- Relevant industry or product experience would be preferred, but by no means essential.
