If I was to tell you a junkyard, Blackpool's North Pier and a fish merchant have something in common, what would you say? ‘So what' or ‘Tell me more?' Tell me more means you are curious, thirsty for knowledge, interested in why what seem unconnected, being connected. Good salespeople are nosey by nature, wanting to get to the nub of the problem before they can sell the best, most appropriate solution. They qualify everything before they close. Oh, nearly forgot, the above three things were all clients of the business we are hiring this role for. A privately owned, international corporate insurance and wealth management business who are growing.
What You Will Do:
Working from home, you will arrange appointments for designated colleagues
Gather information to support the sales effort
Identify the correct decision makers with respect to their employee benefits
Identification of new prospect clients
Ensure all relevant marketing documentation is distributed to the right prospects
Contributing ideas and strategies for new business initiatives
Provide both positive and negative feedback and be entrepreneurial in how the telemarketing process can be improved
What You Will Have:
A proven track record of success in a telemarketing role
Be an articulate communicator whilst being resilient and tenacious
A hunger to continually learn and develop your knowledge, being curious to understand, improve and challenge/question where appropriate
Proactive in your thinking, continually looking as to how you can develop
Ability to efficiently manage your own workload without supervision
Ability to develop, nurture and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
