Job DescriptionBusiness Development Executive - PPE / WorkwearLocation: YorkshireSalary: £35-38,000 OTE 20%, with a mobile phone, laptop, pension, 25 days holiday, company discounts and a hybrid company carField sales role covering the Yorkshire & East MidlandsEstablished for over 30 years, British company with a global reputation and household name brandDealing with new and existing customers, growing the PPE / Workwear divisionSelling to Merchants, Agriculture and Industrial End UsersExcellent package including your choice of a company car or car allowanceThe Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships from Yorkshire down to the East Midlands with merchants, agriculture and industrial customers, selling a full range of PPE and workwear. They are a member of the NMBS so the there is a full contact list for you to engage with. There will be about 2 days a month staying away due to the size of the territory and for sales team meetings.Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Executive: Consistently achieve monthly sales targetsSet and initiate growth plans for the future of the territoryProspect, identify and nurture your own pipelineEnsure high levels of customer service and establish strong relationships with customersEnsure good administration and maximise efficiency and serviceFollow through on all opportunitiesBook your own appointments and manage your time effectivelyJournal plan to ensure minimal time in the carIntroduce new products to your customer baseProduce weekly sales reportsTake customers to the showroom in the North West to present productsWhere possible reduce travel/accommodation costsThe Company: This business has superb product portfolio and excellent global reputation. They provide themselves on quality and value for money with a wealth of experience within the outdoor market, they are fully equipped to supply and promote into the corporate wear industry with uniforms and apparel.We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:You MUST have worked in a face to face business to business sales environmentField sales/territory management experience is essentialYou will have had previous exposure to selling workwear, be that with a manufacturer or distributorYou must be results oriented and can work independently, you must be focused on securing new clients, retaining and growing a profitable account baseA strong communicator with well-developed presentation, negotiation and rapport-building skills
