Business Development Executive



Salary: £28,000k -£323,000k per annum depending on experience plus company bonus



Monday to Thursday 8.00am -5pm, Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm



Post Recruitment is looking for a Business Development Executive to join an extremely successful family run business based in Horsforth



As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-end clients/fashion brands. Your role will involve understanding their unique branding requirements, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver products that exceed client expectations and contribute to the growth of the business.





The role






  •         Collaborate with an allocated Business Development Manager (BDM) to research and prospect targeted new customers within a designated region.

  •         Follow up on all potential lead generation from focused marketing activities for brands



Meeting the criteria within a designated area.




  •         Continuously generate business development appointments.

  •         Record all promising lead communications, including call records, WhatsApp and LinkedIn messaging, and key email dialogues via our CRM system, HubSpot.

  •         Maintain and enhance the CRM contact pool through focused prospecting.

  •         Become proficient in new business development tools (Sales Navigator, HubSpot, AI



Chat) to enhance prospecting and reporting techniques.




  •         Support the Head of New Business (HNB) and New Business Manager (NBM) as required.

  •         Help achieve and surpass departmental KPIs.





The ideal candidate will have and can demonstrate




  • Proven experience in Business Development  or sales, preferably within the branding, packaging, or a related industry

  • Proven track record of managing high-end clients and achieving sales targets/KPI's

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong negotiation skills, with a commercially orientated mindset.

  • Strong organisational and project management abilities

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations
