Primary Objectives:



Supporting the sales team by working on new projects, managing enquiries, generating quotes from potential clients, and following up to completion.



Convert quotes to orders.



Provide monthly feedback on lost quotes.



Driving business growth by efficiently responding to new enquiries, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring smooth communication between the sales team and customers.



Key Responsibilities:



1. Sales & Development:



Respond promptly and professionally to incoming enquiries from current and potential customers.



Gather and analyse customer requirements to ensure accurate and tailored responses.



Negotiate pricing from existing and new suppliers to get the best possible quotations.



Address high-priority requests or escalate issues when necessary.



Analise new product descriptions and research supplier options.



Issue accurate product specifications to Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure correct procurement and dispatch.



Collaborate with external sales staff to follow up on enquiries and quotations.



Ensure all quotes are competitively priced, aligned with company policies, and delivered to clients in a timely manner.



2. General Duties:




  • Undertake any reasonable tasks as requested by Management.

  • Step in for Customer Support Executive staff during their absence if required.

  • Assist in the operation of internal administration systems.



Key Attributes:




  • Proven experience in Projects and New business, Customer relations, or in a similar role.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Solid proficiency with CRM software and IT packages.

  • Good communication, collaboration, customer service and negotiation abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, collaboration, customer service and negotiation abilities

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Knowledge of Fixings and Fasteners is an advantage.
